Good rooms but without heaters!

We stayed for 2 nights here. The hotel is located very close to the main market and lots of eateries and shops. It is also close to the permit office. The rooms are comfortable, but not all of them had heaters. This posed a problem for us because Leh is very cold in October. The hotel seemed ill-equipped to handle full occupancy, since they said they ran out of portable heaters. Also, the bathroom windows opened into the hotel corridors, which made it difficult to keep the windows open after use. There is no view from the rooms, as most overlook the narrow streets and alleys. The food also can be better and more varied, especially for breakfast. The staff is polite and service is prompt. But the free wifi works only in the reception area.

The hotel is ideally located near the main bazaar and the marketplace in Leh. Most good emporiums and shops are very close by. Very courteous and helpful staff who were ready to extend help beyond what was expected.

Good location where it is very near the main market. Breakfast is quite good at the price of 150 per person with omelet, toasts, tea and fruit. Although the hot shower is not 24 hrs, it is available in the evening and morning. During Sep end the weather is cold at night, but not every hotel supply hot shower at nights. Therefore, this hotel is relatively better ) WiFi didn't work at the room, but it is okay at the lobby and restaurant. Room price is fair. Although we didn't see the official price table at the check in counter, we paid $1500 for twin sharing room in Sep end off-season. The room cleanness is okay. Overall is better than the other one we stayed in Leh. The staff is nice and helped to provide hot drinking water. On departure day, they helped us to mail some postcards at 50 for each one because the post office didn't work on that day, they have to help to get stamps.
